Although we can't take credit for the success of the Bastyr University San Diego Grand Opening on September 14, we heartily take credit along with the Department of Information Technology for a blast of a Tea @ 3 that very same day at our Kenmore campus.
Let me refresh your memory: Tacos, chips, salsa, guacamole, California raisins, ice cream, a pinata and glorious, glorious sunshine.
We only got a few takers to swing at the pirate's treasure pinata, including Lead Web Developer Sandra Lee, with her officemate and fellow Web Developer Des Arvidsson on the other end.
My officemate and fellow Marketing Coordinator Jon Hiskes is the bat-wielder who finally cracked the box of goodies.
The IT and marketing and media departments thank you for coming to our celebration, and we hope you had a good time! If you'd like to see what was going on at almost the exact same time at our California campus, take a look at our article "San Diego Celebrates Grand Opening of Bastyr University California."
