We had plenty to talk about this month, with the Bastyr University California Grand Opening right around the corner on Sept. 14!For the Kenmore campus we gave a shout-out to the Department of Certificate, Community and Continuing Education and its new Medical Qigong Certificate Programs, and we also caught up with alumna Lisa Harper, MSN ('10), who has been busy developing partnerships between farms and food banks in the nearby Snohomish Valley as a volunteer with AmeriCorps VISTA.
We've also got plenty of events, including upcoming admissions info sessions both in Kenmore and in San Diego, classes ranging from Perinatal Support Group Facilitator Training to the introduction of the new Indigenous Wisdom Training Program, along with the recipe for the dining commons' famous Tofu Stroganoff and a health tip on the nutritious benefits of chia seeds.
