17 Ways to Stay Healthy in School - October Natural Directions

The lead story in October's Natural Directions (the e-newsletter for prospective students) was inspired by a student orientation session on "staying healthy while in school" led by Christy Lee-Engel, ND, LAc, director of the Center for Spirituality, Science and Medicine, and Sarah Lukhang Klippel, ND, a teaching fellow. The two did a great job offering suggestions and compiling tips from others. "17 Ways to Stay Healthy in School," was a popular story that garnered 46 percent of clicks in our October mailing.

Other stories in the newsletter:

First-year student Naika Apeakorang wrote this tender, funny, honest post about her first week at Bastyr.

Students milk goats, make cheese, harvest herbs and cook straight from the garden on this one-week trip.

Catherine Darley, ND, says Bastyr equipped her to help patients find alternatives to sleeping pills.

We've got loads of campus open houses, online events and traveling advisors to help prospective students explore new careers.
