Leading off, a look back at Kelly Morrow's visit to KCPQ-TV (Q13 Fox) studios last month to discuss the health benefits of chocolate. The TV folks, including anchor Matt Lorch, love Kelly because she's a natural on-air. Kelly shared how eating chocolate can be good for you in some cases, and then left yummy samples for the crew to fight over.
Not to be outdone, Dr. Kyo Mitchell had his own 15 minutes of fame on another local TV station, KOMO4-TV. His topic on March 2, 2012 was how acupuncture can help with seasonal allergies. We are working on getting a video of the segment, but in the meantime, enjoy the photo of him and news anchor Peggy Bunker (above).
Closer and closer we come to the opening of our California campus this fall. With each passing week it seems we accomplish another major goal toward opening for business in September. Most recently, we received San Diego accreditation, which Massage Magazine covered in their student-based website FutureLMT.com.
In other California news, The San Diego Daily Transcript had a piece about Bastyr University signing a 10-year lease at our California location in Sorrento Valley. California here we come!
