As opposed to the current website, which simply lists all of our recipes in alphabetical order, the new website features photos and also separates all of the recipes into searchable categories and even ingredients.
We have plans to make even more improvements to the page, and we could actually use a little help from the Bastyr community to make them.
Got Photos of Bastyr Recipes?
Although all of the recipes shown above include a photo of the dish, we're missing photos for many of the recipes, which is noted throughout the site by the picture at right. Ideally, we would like to replace all of these logos with actual photos of the dish before the public launch, but we can't do it on our own.If you happen to have any photos or would like to take photos of a dish that has been featured on the site (which includes numerous recipes from the popular books From the Bastyr Kitchen and Cynthia Lair's Feeding the Whole Family), please send them our way and we'll be sure to give you credit for your photography skills.
Feature Your Own Recipes on Bastyr.edu/Recipes
More long term, we're also hoping to add more recipes to the site, and would love to work with any student groups or faculty members hoping to give the culinary skills of the Bastyr community more exposure. To talk more about adding photos, recipes or even just offering feedback on recipes that already are posted, email me at mslaughter@bastyr.edu. I'd love to hear from you!
