Our Holiday Greeting E-Card

We send prospective students a lot of info and stories during the year via our monthly e-newsletter Natural Directions. So we figured hectic December was a good time to send something simple.

We considered dancing elves (who doesn't love dancing elves?) but then decided that a word of encouragement to rest better fit Bastyr's ethos.

Here's the holiday greeting card we sent, featuring six great winter recipes from the Bastyr kitchen(s).

Also, did you know "heal," "whole" and "holiday" come from the same root word? Thanks to Wendell Berry for the inspiration for the headline.
