If you happened to be watching CNN Headline News (Comcast Cable channel 45 in the Seattle area) recently, you may have seen President Church giving an interview on Comcast Newsmakers about all the great things happening at Bastyr University in 2012. Dr. Church spoke with host Sabrina Register about our new California campus opening in the fall, the yearlong celebration planned for what would have been Dr. John Bastyr's centennial birthday as well as a number of other topics.
And if you missed it, don't worry because there is a good chance you'll have another opportunity to watch the segment since it is set to run a whopping 50 times between Jan. 19 and Feb. 15. Or if you prefer, you can click on the link above, or right here.
Massage Magazine trumpeted the new Bastyr University website, appropriately enough, on its student site giving future licensed massage therapists a chance to see all our hard work.
The Bastyr University Dining Commons' Jeff Basom got some love from Mothering Magazine, which ran his recipe for potato pancakes and a video of how to make it from Cynthia Lair's Cookus Interruptus website.
Finally to paraphrase a former U.S. President we are uniters, not dividers. That's why we recently struck up a partnership with Cascadia Community College to make things easier for students interested in transferring from CCC to Bastyr University. We posted a news release about it on our website, and it also got picked up in NDNR.com and the Bothell/Kenmore Reporter.
